As you may be aware I have a mild obsession with Infographics. I see them as being an incredibly powerful way to communicate a message, particularly to people like myself who primarily remember things visually.
So this week I’ve dug up a couple of infographics by or about Guy Kawasaki for your viewing and educational pleasure. There’s even a brief co-staring appearance made by Seth Godin in this post. On the off chance you haven’t heard of Guy Kawasaki or Seth Godin, I’m strongly going to suggest you immediately go to Amazon and buy anything either of them have written.
The first infographic is about Likeability. Aside from a possible spelling mistake in the title of the infographic I think this is a pretty good one, based on a topic that anybody who works dealing with clients will understand the importance of. People buy from people they know, like & trust, so there are pointers below that will help you sell more. Guy had this infographic created to help market his book: “Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions”, which I’ve bought but haven’t read yet.
The 2nd infographic I couldn’t resist also publishing. This one is more tongue in cheek but both informative and amusing, although probably only if these guys were already on your radar. Let me know what you think in the comments. Click to view in full size.
I would highly recommend reading Purple Cow and The Dip from Mr Godin as both have had a positive impact on my view of business, people and life in general.
