Welcome to our latest instalment of Viral Video Friday where I dig up two or three videos from my travels around the Interwebs.
This week is for the ladies, because last week I made you endure car ads I figured it was time to balance the books a little bit. I’ve a third “bonus” video this week, although honestly when you watch it you may not consider yourself lucky!
First up is a video from Guy Ritchie, renowned director of some of the best movies to come out of the UK: Snatch and Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. As a movie buff it’d be best if I don’t get started on anything involving Madonna.
Viral Video #1: H&M Spring 2013 – David Beckham
I really don’t think there’s a lot to say after watching that, except that it’s time to hit the gym. Big time. Video stats and some interesting information below. Nearly 3 million views in only a couple of days? Not bad sirs.
Ironically I picked this video for our female audience but check out what YouTube has to say about the engagement and demographic of the people watching the video:
Viral Video #2: Budweiser Super Bowl Ad — The Clydesdales “Brotherhood”
A little bit heavy on the cheese methinks, but who doesn’t like a viral video with cute baby animals? Nobody, that’s who, and lets face it horses are easily the most majestic animals on the planet. With the exception of Unicorns, which are basically just white glow-y horses with horns. Also unicorns don’t exist on planet earth, except in the movies, and they always cast horses for those roles…
Some stats for you on this video. Bear in mind that this was a super bowl ad so would have been exposed to unusually high numbers of people.
What are your thoughts on David Beckham, Guy Ritchie and Unicorns?
